Driver’s Licenses
Nebraska State statute requires any person establishing residency in Nebraska for more than 30 days to register their vehicles in Nebraska as well as obtain a Nebraska Driver’s license. Failure to do so may result in the filing of charges. Vehicle/Driver’s License may be obtained at the Dawson County Courthouse in Lexington. Proof of ownership is needed to purchase vehicle licenses. Driver’s license tests are given on Monday-Friday at the Dawson County Courthouse.
